Kevin Seawright is an American businessman, financial advisor, and entrepreneur. He began his career by working for various government agencies as a financial advisor on the East Coast. He attended Mendoza College of Business, where he obtained his degree in Executive Leadership and Economics.

Early Career

Mr. Seawright previously worked for the Baltimore Commission on Aging and Retirement and designed an entirely new accounting system that ended up saving the company over $100,000. In a few years, he was offered and agreed to the post of Chief Financial Officer for the Department of Parks and Recreation. In recognition of his efforts at the Department of Parks and Recreation, he took the position of Deputy Chief Operating Officer in Education, for the city of Baltimore.

Mr. Seawright moved to Washington, DC and was appointed the Director of Finance and Human Capital at Tito Contractors. He primarily works as a go-between for the employees and management personnel. In May 2015, Kevin Seawright was welcomed onto the Newark Community Economic Development Corporation as Chief Financial Office and Executive Vice President.

This corporation oversees developments of small businesses, education, and government agencies in Newark. Their primary purpose is to make sure small businesses stay in Newark to continue the development of this city. They help develop small, and minority-owned businesses thrive. Mr. Seawright oversees giving grants to improve the outside cosmetic look of their stores, and this makes it more attractive to customers.
